Rachelle L. Crowe Children: Does Rachelle L. Crowe Have Children?


Rachelle Aud Crowe, born around 1972 or 1973, is currently the United States attorney for the Southern District of Illinois. Before this role, she represented the 56th district in the Illinois Senate.

Education-wise, Crowe earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 1996, followed by a Juris Doctor from the Saint Louis University School of Law in 2000.

In her career journey, she worked as an associate at various law firms: Hoagland, Fitzgerald, Smith & Praintis (2000-2002), Riezman Berger (2002-2004), and Carmody MacDonald P.C. (2004-2006). She also had a role as a prosecutor at the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office.

In 2018, Crowe won the general election by defeating Hal Patton, the mayor of Edwardsville and a de facto Republican candidate, succeeding long-serving Democratic incumbent Bill Haine. She stepped down from her position in the Illinois Senate on June 15, 2022, with Kristopher Tharp taking over.

She ihas a son with her husband Michael Crowe. His name is Eli. 

In the U.S. attorney realm, President Joe Biden announced Crowe as his choice for the United States attorney for the Southern District of Illinois on April 22, 2022. After nomination and confirmation proceedings, she officially took office on June 21, 2022.
