Colin Carrie MP is a Canadian politician who’s currently a member of the House of Commons of Canada. He represents Oshawa in Ontario for the Conservative Party of Canada.

Born on April 11, 1962, in Hamilton, Ontario, Carrie settled in Oshawa at age fifteen. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and became a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1989. Before politics, he worked as a chiropractor and was involved in community roles like being a Financial Secretary of the Oshawa Knights of Columbus.

Carrie was elected as a Member of Parliament for Oshawa in 2004. He served on the House of Commons Standing Committee on Health and introduced a bill to change how health products are regulated.

He kept winning elections and took on various roles, including Deputy Critic for Health and Canada-US Relations. In 2019, he introduced bills related to human trafficking and victims’ rights.
